Russell S. Carlson, 92, of Farmington, formerly of Savage, died peacefully May 24, 2006, at his home, Community Assisted Living, with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Helen Jane (Lattery) Carlson; his parents; five brothers and sister, Evelyn.

He is survived by sons, Daniel (Yvonne) of Apple Valley, Joel (Lisa) of Faribault, and Ken (Wendy) of Savage; 11 grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Olson of Danube, Minn.; and many special friends and extended family members.

Visitation was May 26 at White Funeral Home, Burnsville. Reviewal and funeral services were May 27 at the funeral home. Interment was at St. John's Cemetery, Burnsville.
