Lila Halbert, 75, of Apple Valley, died peacefully May 25, 2006, with her family by her side.

She was preceded in death by parents, Russell and Marguerite Emmert; son, Brian; and brothers, Russell Emmert and Harold Chock.

She is survived by husband, Marlin; children, Debra (Jeffrey) Poole, Donna (Craig) Fleming, Terry (Joan), Jeffrey (Deb), Timothy, Trina, Kevin (Liz) and Eileen; eight grandchildren; sisters, Anna Mae Smith and Frances Conley; and brother, Lloyd Emmert.

Visitation and funeral services were May 30 at White Funeral Home in Apple Valley. Memorials preferred to the American Lung Association or MN AIDS Foundation.
