Herbert L. "Herb" Harvey, 64, of Apple Valley, died suddenly Nov. 30, 2006, at his home.

He was born April 24, 1942, in Moorhead, Minn. Herb retired from John Deere Corp. after 30 years.

He was preceded in death by son, Brent; parents, Myron and Selma; and brother, Dennis.

He is survived by wife of 40 years, Janice "Jan"; son, Chad (Mali); two grandsons; also by brother, Jerry; sister, Sharon (Marvin) Brogren; sister-in-law, Beverly Harvey.

Visitation was Dec. 4 at White Funeral Home, Apple Valley. Visitation and funeral services were Dec. 5 at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington with the Rev. Jerry Strandquist officiating. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
