To the editor:

I am writing in response to Dr. Neal Wetherall's previous letter concerning second-hand smoke.

If the tobacco companies would rid their products of the nicotine-enhancing products, the dangers would be lessened.

Now, there is another health hazard not only for the user, but the general public as well. That health hazard is alcohol. If Dr. Wetherall is a medical doctor, he is acquainted with the various health and social problems that arise.

I wonder how many anti-smoking drum-thumpers drive a bit impaired. If this happens, then, you are a hazard to my health and safety.
