Prior Lake-Savage Area High School Seniors achieved higher ACT scores on average than students statewide and nationally, according to reports released earlier this week. But few are prepared for college-level courses.

The average ACT score in the Prior Lake-Savage Area School District was 22.6 out of a total of 36 points, while the state average was 22.3 and the national average was 21.1.

Although the district's average ACT score exceeded the state and national averages, the test showed that few Prior Lake-Savage students are prepared for college-level courses, specifically biology as indicated in the graph below.
