Jason D. "Jay Jayî "Jay Birdî VanBeck, 27, of Eagan, died Nov. 9, 2005.

He loved deer hunting, hockey, basketball, baseball, football, softball, and fishing. He was a good fisherman. Even though he was a small, his speed was not to be underestimated. He was an awesome left fielder. He was loving and caring and will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by grandpa, Fred.

He is survived by parents, David and Pam VanBeck; sisters, Tanya (Gibran) Lorenzano, Chantal VanBeck; nephew, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A gathering of friends and services were Nov. 12 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, Apple Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials to donor's choice.
