To the editor:

We are writing to encourage Farmington residents to vote for Steve Wilson for one of the open City Council seats on Nov. 2.

Recently, we had the opportunity to meet Steve and gain his perspective on the important issues facing Farmington. Not only were we encouraged by his enthusiasm and desire to serve the residents of Farmington on the council but his willingness to tackle the tough issues.

Steveís interest in bringing more business into Farmington, encourage a strong working relationship with the school district, focus on park and recreation opportunities and improve communication both at City Hall and throughout the city are goals that will serve all Farmington residents. We particularly liked his idea of having regular ìTown Hallî meetings where residents and elected officials would have an opportunity to meet and discuss important issues in a more informal setting.

We believe that Steve Wilsonís positive attitude and work ethic is what is needed on the City Council and hope that all Farmington residents will join us in voting for Steve Wilson on Nov. 2.
