To the editor:

I support Congressman John Kline because of his fine character and his experience as a Marine colonel. I know that he gives careful thought to issues (mostly difficult issues). John Kline has impressed me with his unwavering integrity, honesty and willingness to work very hard as a congressman, something that a lot of our congressmen donít do. I also admire his conservative positions (not reflexively conservative). I appreciate his willingness to listen and really think about my comments, and then respond carefully and intelligently to my questions and ideas.

We need men like John Kline in Congress. I donít agree with John on all his votes and on all the issues, but we agree on most issues, and I have always respected his positions as being carefully and well thought out.

I believe John is very effective as a congressman in negotiating the best possible results for his 2nd District constituents. It is very difficult for a single congressman to have a major effect on all legislation, due to the confusion produced by 435 congressmen. I think that John is doing a superior job representing our 2nd District and our United States. I am joined in this opinion by a wide variety of thoughtful persons whose opinion I most respect.
